Finally, some good news!
Brooke Mueller has voluntarily admitted herself to UCLA Medical Center to receive treatment for drug addiction. The socialite and ex-wife of Charlie Sheen was released from an involuntary psychiatric hold there on Friday, following a multi-day drug binge.
A source revealed:
“Brooke was released from the hold last week but she made the decision that it’s in her best interests to seek treatment for her drug addiction at UCLA, at least, in the short term… The plan is for Brooke to stabilize and then she’ll move to to another treatment facility soon.”
The source added:
“It was Brooke’s sole decision to check back into UCLA.”
Brooke’s rep Steve Honig also stated that she'll “likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse,” and that she “misses her children and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom.”
We think it’s great that she’s stepping up to do things right by herself and her kids.
